Bus Driver Trainer & Assessor

Due to our growing team of drivers, we are searching for a suitably qualified Driver Trainer and Assessor to join the team.

As this is a newly created role, the successful candidate will need to be able to think outside the box and implement new processes and procedures.

Regular work activities include:

  • Assisting with driver recruitment and selection
  • Completing induction function for all new employees and drivers
  • Completing full function operator assessments for new and existing drivers
  • Completing full function operator assessments for new and existing drivers
  • Conducting all relevant operator training for new and existing drivers
  • Completion of paperwork and training records, and maintenance of same
  • Ensuring the safety of our workers and members of the public by promoting best practice
  • Updating and maintaining induction, training and assessment materials
  • Operating route and school bus services

Licenses, qualifications and experience

  • Certificate IV Training & Assessment
  • Certificate III in Driving Operations
  • A valid Australian or NSW MR driver’s licence
  • A valid NSW Bus Driver Authority, or the ability to obtain one
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), or the ability to obtain one
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous’
